Before going to work in the studio, I like to get confused and caffeinated.

Using a winter glove seemed like a good way to make the canvas-stretching pliers easier to hold; however, at the end of the day, my hand is numb anyway.

The coffee table set out for my artist talk at Rivermont Studio was closely watched by a Monopter.

Pen and ink drawings printed as wall paper and installed with the painting at the Art Museum of the Americas for the exhibition Ripple Effect: Currents of Socially Engaged Art. The embroidered mask and photos were created by the ASCHOY Collective in 2007 as part of ongoing artistic research and engagements in La Paz, Bolivia.  I was invited to contribute the drawings and painting for the installation of ASHCOY’s work at AMA.
